PhD Studentship in Knowledge Sharing and Organisational Learning

Covers fees, maintenance at £12,000 pa, and an allowance for conducting fieldwork and conference attendance.

Lancaster University Management School would like to announce availability of a research studentship funded by EPSRC under the Doctoral Training Account scheme. The successful student will become a member of the Department of Management Learning and Leadership, and will work with members of the Organizational Learning and Knowledge (OLK) research group. The focus of the research will be on motivational aspects of knowledge management and organisational learning, and it is expected that fieldwork will be conducted in high-technology engineering companies with which OLK members are already working.

The attached notes give further details of the potential scope and methodology of the project, although it is expected that the successful candidate will develop his or her own theoretical and methodological emphasis.
