Camp College introduces kids to schools

Camp College had all the traditions of summer camp: youth campers, counselors, meals and group activities. But this camp hopefully will have far-reaching influence for college-bound students.

Camp College at Bob Jones High School introduces students to the variety of colleges where they may decide to apply. This year, 20 college representatives visited and shared facts about their schools with approximately 130 Bob Jones students.

When inviting college representatives to attend, Shelia Roberts welcomed their help to find the perfect fit for students in their pursuit of higher education. Students come to learn about each and every college in attendance, said Roberts, the college and career adviser at Bob Jones.
