Camp College at Bob Jones High School introduces students to the variety of colleges where they may decide to apply. This year, 20 college representatives visited and shared facts about their schools with approximately 130 Bob Jones students.

When inviting college representatives to attend, Shelia Roberts welcomed their help to find the perfect fit for students in their pursuit of higher education. Students come to learn about each and every college in attendance, said Roberts, the college and career adviser at Bob Jones.

Harvard student Meghan Pasricha has been selected as one of the top 10 college women in the U.S. by Glamour magazine and LOréal Paris. Pasricha, 21, is the daughter of Sadhana and Ashok Pasricha of Hockessin. She received her award on Wednesday for excellence in academics and for her leadership to decrease tobacco use at Harvard, in Delaware and in India.
Pasricha started her anti-smoking crusade because of her asthma and because she finds it hard to breathe in a smoke-filled room. Because of her involvement, her mother started an anti-tobacco club at Goldey-Beacom College.

Thapar Institute introduces BE-MBA dual degree
The Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) has introduced a five-year dual degree programme. This was communicated to mediapersons by TIET Director Dr SC Saxena. He said in the last few years the institute has started many new programmes, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The institute is starting a BE-MBA dual degree program from 2006-07.
The director said under the said programme a student would be able to simultaneously pursue a bachelors degree in engineering and a masters of business administration at the same time.
