MANIPAL Dec 12 Asia Pulse - TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal (TAPMI) sign a declaration of intent on December 23 with the School of Business Administration, Oakland University, USA.
The alliance would be faculty, exchange of pupils, students and research training, TAPMI said in a press release.
Oakland University's School of Business Administration has pioneered many innovative programmes in recent years.
It is expected that the proposed alliance would allow the two institutions a competitive advantage and management training, research and publications.
NC State Universitys College of Management Holds MBA Program Information Session Tonight

The part-time MBA program at Santa Clara Universitys Leavey School of Business is ranked No. 14 among the top MBA part-time programs in the country, and the programs graduates command top salaries nationally, according to U.S. News & World Report magazines annual Americas Best Graduate Schools issue that was released today.

CSU MBA office moves
The offices and classroom of Colorado State Universitys Executive MBA Program have moved to a new location.
The Executive MBA Program, previously located on the second floor of the Chamber of Commerce Building in Lower Downtown, has moved to the 24th floor of 410 17th St. in downtown Denver. The Executive MBA Program now will reside in a single building with the universitys Division of Continuing Education as well as the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System.
The new facilities feature seating for more than 30 people, wireless connectivity, a smartboard controlled by a laptop
Braughnwynn "Bibi" Jackson felt skeptical the first time she attended an informational meeting for the master's in business administration program at Mills College in Oakland.
"Everyone I talked to seemed to genuinely love the program," she said. "I thought, this is not real, it can't be. All these women supporting one another, the can-do attitude."
Jackson, who had previously worked in medical and science fields, had adapted to competitive and male-dominated industries and was looking for a change.

MBA students focus on education finances
MBA students at the University of California, Berkeleys Haas School of Business will host the Education Leadership Case Competition, the first of its kind at a business school in the United States, on Thursday and Friday, March 1-2. The competition will focus on a new financial plan for the Oakland Unified School District, which has been in state receivership since 2003 due to financial troubles.
Organized by the Haas Leadership in Education Club, the event will bring together MBA students from UC Berkeley, University of Southern California, UCLA, Northwestern University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Brandeis University
Wright State Universitys Raj Soin College of Business South Dayton MBA program has found a home in the Mound Advanced Technology Center, the complex that some 16 years ago served as a U.S. government nuclear weapons facility.
The weekend program, meeting mostly on Friday nights and Saturdays, has 56 students. The program started in January and is taught by full-time Wright State graduate faculty.
Mike Grauwelman, president of the non-profit Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corp., said the program meets on the second floor of one of the parks main buildings, 965 Capstone Drive.
