Leading Indian Varsity Opens MBA Programme In Msia

Malaysia is fast becoming a much sought- after destination for tertiary education as evident from the number of foreign-based universities operating in the country.

Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk G. Palanivel said the latest to join the impressive list of foreign universities operating here was the India-based ICFAI University offering its Cyberlynx MBA programme.

Speaking at the official launch of the programme here, he said the programme offered by the university would be useful in providing Malaysian business leaders the edge to further steer their businesses into world-class business organisations.

XLRI signs MoU with Chicago-based varsity

XLRI signs MoU with Chicago-based varsity XLRI on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Loyola University of Chicago. The MoU envisages exchange of students and faculty between the two institutions. It will pave the way for joint research and a joint degree programme as well. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, have launched an executive education initiative called 'Global Leaders Programme: Growing and Innovating in a Flat World'. This programme will run in India between August 20 and 27, and in the USA between September 17 and 24. The Global Leaders Program me (GLP) is framed with the aim to combine IIM-A's expertise in the socio-economic reality of the fast-growing Asian region with the leadership of Duke with its insights into the developed markets. The University of Pondicherry offers two new courses for the next academic year as part of its innovative program to "promote education and research in interdisciplinary areas and emerging countries."
