SafePay Solutions, Inc. announced today that real estate industry veteran John Harris and technical industry veteran Barry Nester have been appointed to fill vacancies on the SafePay Board of Directors. The two new directors, who each have over twenty years experience in their respective fields, will be joining SafePay President Tim Jilbert and Chief Financial officer Jim Marshall in overseeing the acquisition of Digital 440 and its integration into SafePay.
Mr. Nester is a former VP of Channel Sales for Anixter, a $2.5 billion sales IT distributor, as well as a former VP of sales of Swiftcomm and area sales manager for Cisco. Mr. Harris has extensive experience in the real estate industry, where he has managed operations, technical services, business development, marketing, finance, and human resources for several mortgage service firms. Bringing to SafePay a unique combination of technical and real estate skills, Harris has worked extensively with real estate developers and has appeared before city planning commissions in Los Angeles and Orange County, California on behalf of development companies and has assisted developers in obtaining development agreements, conditional use permits, variances, and other business licenses. Both men are extremely well qualified for their respective positions.
Jilbert became President of SafePay in May 2006. Prior to joining SafePay, Jilbert served as CEO of X2 Corporation, a company he sold after increasing its revenues from zero to seven million dollars in a span of approximately 12 months. Prior to X2, Jilbert was a Regional Sales Vice President for GE Capital, with responsibility for a regional territory posting annual sales of $25,000,000 of products from major storage solution manufacturers such as Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard and Hitachi. Before joining GE, Mr. Jilbert was a Regional Sales Manager for Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for selling Cisco Systems full line of network solutions, as well as selling into the Dot-Com and E-commerce marketplace. In addition with his extensive business expertise, Mr. Jilbert has a bachelors degree in Business and Economics from the University of Southern California.

NEW DELHI: All India Management Association (AIMA), the Chairman, Subir Raha, was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
"It feels good, a chance, especially largest organization of this level, which a year earlier with AIMA has a lot to my experience, the current Chairman AIMA Subir Raha, said in a statement on Monday.

Bangalore: Two major HRD Ministry representative, TVS Motor Company and Director Venu Srinivasan BPL Limited president and general manager Ajit Nambiar, resigned from the membership of the Board of Governors at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B).

The HRD ministry has ordered for a detailed report on the ‘role of chairman’ at the Indian Institutes of Management. The report is to be submitted within a month.

Southern Oregon University is restoring its masters in business administration program, charting a different course from the discontinued version abandoned a decade ago.
The hybrid program aimed at working professionals will be offered in Medford on Saturdays and takes seven quarters, or 21 months, to complete.
