The George Fox School of Management is accepting competitive applications for its MBA evening cohort program to begin in the fall. Information meetings will be held to discuss the program on Thursday, April 19th, and May 17th, at noon and 6:00 pm. Meetings are at the Meridian campus located at 1810 South Eagle Road.
The George Fox, MBA program is 23 months in length, meeting one night per week, and occasional Saturdays. The program focuses on the ethical stewardship of organizations and servant leadership of people. Classes are discussion-based with an emphasis on case studies.

The University of South Florida Lakeland will offer a master of business administration program in the Polk County area.
USF Lakeland will begin a two-year MBA cohort program in the fall. A cohort is a group of students who complete a degree program together, supporting each other and enhancing the growth of each individual through shared experiences.
Courses will be offered Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
The MBA is a professional degree designed to prepare graduates for managerial roles in business and not-for-profit organizations.

Raj Soin College of Business' Master of Business Administration (MBA) Weekend Program is expanding MBA offerings off-campus in the fall to become more aggressive in recruiting students for graduate programs.

Gearing up for the arrival of students in the fall, Maryland colleges and universities announced this week a flurry of high-level academic and administrative appointments.
The job of managing a new MBA program offered jointly by the University of Baltimores Merrick School of Business and Towson University will fall to Ron Desi, a former project manager at Baltimore-area high-technology companies and an instructor in the Loyola College MBA program.
As program director, Desi will straddle both campuses, overseeing admissions, student advising and marketing.

Korea University Business School (KUBS) has introduced a ``selective dual degree MBA program’’ in cooperation with two other overseas schools. Students of the new MBA program can study at Fudan University in Shanghai, China; Korea University in Seoul; and the National University of Singapore for six months, each.
Taking the initial letter of the cities where the three universities are located, the program has been named ``S³Asia MBA,’’ and is scheduled to be launched this August. Students of the program are to choose two degrees from those offered by the three schools.

Students seeking a master's degree in library science from Wayne State University can earn one while sitting in front of their home computers, starting this fall.
The university is introducing an online option for its Master of Library and Information Science degree.
Wayne State says the goal is to make the program available to "students who cannot attend physical classes." It says all course work for the online program will take place on line and will have the same content as its regular master's program.
The application deadline is June 20, with admissions decisions expected by early July.
