The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences will offer its first fully online masters degree program through its distance-learning network, EngiNet, starting in the fall 2007 semester.
The master of engineering (MEng) in production management is one of the most popular degrees in the engineering school for working professionals interested in management and leadership positions in engineering.
Our MEng degree program will now be available entirely via the distance learning mode, said Carl Chang, adjunct professor of industrial and systems engineering and an academic advisor in the MEng program. There are many young people who want to pursue advanced studies, but cannot enroll in the university because of work, geography and family circumstances. I am certain there will be a large demand for this program.
