Mtc-Vodafone (Bahrain) high achiever wins place on us MBA programme

Vodafone (Bahrain) Sales Support Supervisor, Lamees Al-Binali, has been selected to an executive MBA programme in the United States following a rigorous selection process. After a four-week mini MBA at the University of Pennsylvania, she will continue her Legal and Business Fellowship with a five-month placement at an American company - in Lamees case, with Coca Cola in Atlanta, Georgia. The fellowship programme is an initiative funded by the US State Departments Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), an organization which encourages economic, political and educational empowerment.

During the interview for the programme, Lamees impressed the selection committee with her maturity, professionalism and willingness to make a positive change in her community. She has the full support of her employer, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain), who encourages employees to be proactive in seeking such self-development opportunities. Since joining the company in 2003 on graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration, her consistent aptitude and willingness to learn led to her rapid promotion to Sales Support Supervisor.

The MBA and fellowship programme is a great opportunity for me to experience the diversity of international business and learn through sharing information, networking and building bridges. This will broaden my outlook and deepen my understanding of business principles. On my return, I intend to use this experience for the benefit of MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) and my community, said Lamees.
