IU Kelley School of Business Team Takes Home Big Ten Award
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A team of first-year Master of Business Administration students at Indiana Universitys Kelley School of Business won first-place team honors in the 2007 Big Ten MBA Case Competition this past weekend (April 13-14), and one of its members took individual honors.
Keith Gelarden Dayton, a lecturer in the management department and MBA core coordinator in the schools Leadership Development Institute, coached the IU team, which consisted of Abhi Nadgir, Bhavin Shah, John Donald Walter and Manish Mathur. Nadgir also was the individual winner in the category of best final-round presenter.
The Kelley School previously won the Big Ten MBA Case Competition in 2000 and 2003.

Columbia Business School Names Kelley Blanco Assistant Dean for Executive MBA Programs
Glenn Hubbard, Dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School, has announced the appointment of Kelley Blanco as Assistant Dean for Executive MBA Programs at the School, effective March 12, 2007. Ms. Blanco moves into her new role from the Schools department of External Relations and Development, where she served most recently as Director of Development. She will report to Ethan Hanabury, Associate Dean of Executive MBA Programs at Columbia Business School.

Fortune Small Business magazine reports that both the undergraduate and MBA programs offered by Indiana Universitys Kelley School of Business are among the top programs nationally for aspiring entrepreneurs.
While Fortune Small Business did not rank the programs, Kelley was one of two schools that were singled out in presentations of the top four MBA and top five undergraduate programs in the magazines September issue. The report also is featured at CNNMoney.com.
The magazine based its findings on interviews with hundreds of entrepreneurs, professors, students, alumni, university administrators and venture capitalists.

Indiana University's Kelley School of Business is the fifth most favorite regional program among corporate recruiters surveyed by the Wall Street Journal and Harris Interactive.
The Kelley School -- which ranks second among public programs -- jumped 10 places in the newspaper's seventh annual survey of regional schools from 15th a year ago and made the strongest improvement of any Big Ten school in all of the rankings and most other schools rated by the newspaper.

Jamshedpur, December 16: Vivekanand Nandi, a second year student of Human Resources and Labour Relations (PMIR), Xavier for the laurels of work and relationship Institute (XLRI), where he won the prestigious ups Leadership Award.
The contest was organized by TA-based Manipal Pai Management Institute December 3 to December 5. Nandi was 12 participants from B up schools in the country, attended the competition.
