Santa Clara University’s Part-Time MBA Program Named No. 14 by U.S. News
The part-time MBA program at Santa Clara Universitys Leavey School of Business is ranked No. 14 among the top MBA part-time programs in the country, and the programs graduates command top salaries nationally, according to U.S. News & World Report magazines annual Americas Best Graduate Schools issue that was released today.
Graduates of the 2006 part-time MBA program averaged $100,466 in base salary offers, making the program sixth in the nation among highest paid new graduates. Santa Clara University has been listed in the top 20 MBA programs every year since the part-time rankings began in 1995.

CSU MBA office moves
The offices and classroom of Colorado State Universitys Executive MBA Program have moved to a new location.
The Executive MBA Program, previously located on the second floor of the Chamber of Commerce Building in Lower Downtown, has moved to the 24th floor of 410 17th St. in downtown Denver. The Executive MBA Program now will reside in a single building with the universitys Division of Continuing Education as well as the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System.

Tuition fees approved
New tuition schedule designed in accordance with universitys policy to ensure accessibility and program excellence
Governing Council approved the 2006-07 tuition schedule May 1. The schedule reflects the parameters of the new provincial tuition framework announced March 8 and will increase fees next year by $167 for continuing arts and science undergraduate students and by $188 for first-year arts and science students.

Wright State Universitys Raj Soin College of Business South Dayton MBA program has found a home in the Mound Advanced Technology Center, the complex that some 16 years ago served as a U.S. government nuclear weapons facility.
The weekend program, meeting mostly on Friday nights and Saturdays, has 56 students. The program started in January and is taught by full-time Wright State graduate faculty.
Mike Grauwelman, president of the non-profit Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corp., said the program meets on the second floor of one of the parks main buildings, 965 Capstone Drive.

UC Davis MBA program listed as one of nations best
The University of California Davis Graduate School of Management has been named one of the top 50 business schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report magazine, the 12th-consecutive year the local university has made the closely watched list.
The UC Davis program is ranked No. 20 among public schools and No. 46 overall, according to U.S. News 2008 edition of Americas Best Graduate Schools. The overall ranking remained the same as last year.

Students entering the University of Louisvilles new master of business administration program this fall can expect going to class to be a lot more like going to work.

Appalachian MBA students travel to china
BOONE—A dozen students enrolled in an international seminar offered through the MBA program in Appalachian State Universitys Walker College of Business are learning about international business firsthand with a trip to China.
The seminar is a requirement for the MBA degree and students enrolled in the program participate in an international travel experience as a component of the course.
Throughout the semester, the students explored a range of international business topics through interaction with guest speakers, research, presentations and case analysis. The students will continue their case discussion in China, working in teams with graduate students
Alumni from the Accelerated MBA program are collecting personal items for the residents of St. Francis Inn through Friday, December 14. The items will be donated to St. Francis Inn on Saturday, December 15, during the Alumnis volunteer trip to the organizations soup kitchen.
