In 2006 Penn State Beaver saw a 13% increase in enrollment bringing the campus to a total of 730 undergraduates and 120 graduate students in the masters of education program. In addition, almost 1,900 students attended non-credit classes through the Office of Continuing Education. The campus gained complete wireless access and administrators announced the addition of mens soccer and womens basketball for fall 2007.

The Office of Continuing Education (CE) increased programming and outreach by offering new courses and programs tailored to meet the specific education and management training needs of local and regional businesses and corporations, large and small. Classes were delivered on site or on campus according to client needs. In 2006 CE experienced a surge of interest when it began offering courses in the Personal Care Home Training which carries state education requirements of up to 100 hours for health care professionals and personal home care administrators and twelve hours for direct-care staff. Individuals providing elder care for family or friends also attended courses. In addition, enrollment remained strong in courses for professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and those in graduate-level engineering leadership. Classes for real estate salespeople, certified public accountants, those preparing for the GRE, GMAT, or LSAT, and Act 48 classes for educators were also offered.

IIM (C) presents a study on Tea Board on domestic consumption.

Kolkata, Sept 3 (PTI) The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) to prepare a study on domestic consumption, its report on the tea hotel, whose president Basudeb Banerjee said. PTI Banerjee said that contrary to the exercise there is no growth in domestic consumption levels, the study showed that grew with a rate of three to 3.5 per cent per annum.
