The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) in India today an agreement with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) for the establishment of a centre for international trade with technology.
Set up in IIFT, the Centre for Research on problems that emerge in trade and technology to identify opportunities for the export of India, a statement of IIFT said here.
The Centre for entries, institutions and departments regarding the establishment of a favourable political regime in light of studies undertaken on the agreements of the WTO in charge of trade, technology, as TRIPS, TBT, etc.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has concluded an agreement with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), in which the staff of the ONGC be subjected to study MBA at IIFT Super Unnati Prayas regime.
ONGC send their employees IIFT for a full-time, 18 months of the MBA program with a specialization in international affairs. KOLKATA: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), the country's foremost school specialising in the subject, will set up a campus in the city this July.
IIFT is initially looking for rented space to start classes. It plans to move to its own campus by end-2006 or early next year.
Around 60 students are expected to be given admission on the Kolkata campus. The Delhi campus takes in 100 students per year. IIFT will conduct group discussions and interviews for admission in the city from January 30 to February 2.

The center is to facilitate, a campus of the National Institute of Design (NID) in the metropolis in the near future, Commerce Kamal Nath said the Prime Minister today.
Opening of the new campus of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Salt Lake is the first outside Delhi, Nath said the inauguration of NID perhaps not far away.
