SDSU at Work on Life Science MBA

San Diego State University and Princeton, N.J.-based Gallup University announced on Feb. 21 a partnership to develop a new MBA for executives in life sciences expected to begin in the last quarter of 2007.

The MBA program will focus executives on issues such as leading health care product development through the regulatory process, decreasing costs and creating real benefit for patients.

In a 22-month span, students will have three two-week residency periods where they will be taught by SDSU professors, tour local biotech facilities and receive seminars from life science executives.

SDSU to start one-year MBA world study San Diego State University will unveil today a new one-year MBA program that allows students to immerse themselves in the culture and business practices of four of the words fastest-growing economies. The program, which includes 12-week visits to China, India and the Middle East, focuses on international entrepreneurship, primarily in the areas of high-tech, biotech, wireless and financial services.
