MBA first-semester exam from February 13
Calicut University first-semester MBA examination (old and new schemes), which was postponed earlier, will be held from February 13.
University has published the results of fourth-semester MSc mathematics exam held in September 2006. Results are available in university website. Last date to apply for revaluation and for the photocopy of answer sheet is February 26.
Provisional rank list has been published. K S Shabna (LFAEMMS010), K.N.Savitha (STAEMMS013) and K.M.Sajitha (MPAEMMS014) secured the first, second and third ranks respectively.

JCD leader appears at exam from sick bed violating rules
A Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader of Rajshahi University (RU) appeared at his MBA examination from sick bed on Sunday last violating university rules.
Sources said RU JCD Joint Convener Masudur Rahman Rana, a second semester student of Management department, appeared at the examination from a sick bed of the university medical centre without any illness.
University Chief Medical Officer Dr Nadira Begum informed the university authorities and department chairman in written that Rana has no infectious disease and as such he needs no sick bed to appear at the examination.

ICET entrance exam on May 25
The ICET entrance examination, for the MBA and MCA courses would be held on 25th of this month.
Nearly 1,35,655 candidates would attend the exam that would be conducted in 248 examination centers in 20 towns across the state.
Two examination centers have been changed owing to some reasons. In Hyderabad, the Narayana Engineering College center has been shifted to G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences in Sheik pet.

Six students of MBA first semester and three students of MBA third semester of Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Gujarkhan campus, have bagged merit positions in Punjab Technical University examinations.
As per the merit list released by PTU, these exams were held in December 2006. Megha Jain of MBA first semester has topped the university with 90.25 % marks. Jaspreet Kaur bagged the second position with 89.12 %, and Chanpreet Kaur bagged the third position with 88.87 % marks.

The first group of Chinese Master of Business Administration (MBA) students from Sias International University of China have completed their first semester at Rowans business school.
Eight students from Sias in Henan Province, China, are the first students from their college to be accepted as students at Rowan.

Gujarat University has decided to postpone its MBA part I exam by two days, even as the Gujarat High Court is hearing a petition on Wednesday on students not having enough time to prepare. The exam will now be held from Friday instead of Wednesday. An extra day has also been provided in the new schedule, instead of holding them everyday.

More mainlanders taking entrance exam
THE number of Chinese students applying for the Graduate Management Admission Test, a globally recognized business school entrance exam, has risen for the second year in a row due to lower American visa restrictions and Chinas growing demand for MBAs.
Officials with the Graduate Management Admission Council, the United States-based GMAT organizer, revealed in the city yesterday that 4,076 people took the GMAT test on the Chinese mainland from last July to this June, accounting for 2.6 percent of all examinees around the world.
