Mobile GMAT Testing Center on the Natchez Campus
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has launched a pilot program whereby a GMAT bus will visit 49 cities over a seven-month period to provide mobile sites for students to take the GMAT. The GMAT bus will be on the Natchez Campus on January 13 and 17, 2007.
Interested candidates can register online at www.mba.com. Students can follow the prompts online to register by entering the zip code for either Natchez, MS, or Alcorn State, MS. They can also call to register (800-717-GMAT) if they would prefer.

University Next Stop For Gmat Mobile Test Center
This month Tuskegee students interested in taking the Graduate Management Admissions Test wont have to worry about driving to the nearest test center. This time the center will come to them when the University becomes the next stop for the GMAT Mobile Test Center on Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

The GMAT bus that was parked at NC A&T Saturday. The mobile testing center gives would-be grad students the chance to take the test without having to travel to another city which is sometimes the case.
About a dozen students took the test at A&T Saturday.

Would-be MBA students getting ready to take the GMAT might be in for a little surprise when they show up at the testing center. In addition to all the usual security measures—including video monitoring and the computer adaptive test itself—test takers will soon be asked to submit to a new one: a biometric device that uses an infared light to capture the test-taker’s unique “palm vein pattern.”

The CAT paper may be going the GMAT way. Sample this - from 2003 to 2006, the number of questions has fallen from 150 to 75. The GMAT paper has 78 questions.
The number of choices and the duration of the CAT examination have also changed resembling a GMAT paper. And now, the CAT test might soon become an online exam like the GMAT.
