Consistency in efforts

Consistency in efforts is one of the key factors of success. Anything done in tit bits and with time breaks consumes a lot of time and, in many cases, may fail to make any impact because the time gap may nullify the earlier achievements. A fitting example of this type can be observed from the statistics of the number of students who seek admission in the Institute of Chartered Accountancy. Of the large number of candidates admitted, finally a very small percentage gets the degree in the minimum span period. While a large chunk becomes inconsistent in their studies and finally give up, some take many extra years because they are not constant in their studies. In the story of Hare and the Tortoise , it was hares inconsistency in his efforts that resulted in losing the race. One must not become irregular in ones work, if success is the target.
Be ready for the show

Knowledge about business is one of the basic requirements for its success. Having such knowhow about the process, technology, sources of raw materials, markets for finished products, wastage, etc. pays a lot. Lack of knowledge makes you completely dependent on others thereby exposing you to .the potent risk of being misguided or duped by your own workers and other people. There is also a number of cases of inexperienced persons starting their own business, investing their money, putting in labour yet suffered losses and finally abandoned the projects for good.

If you are properly equipped with the knowledge and experience you cannot only save yourself from the exploitation by others but even help your staff in guiding them whenever such a guidance is necessary. Never be simply lured into a business by merely watching others make a lot of money. If particular type of study or training is required you must undertake it before launching your own business. This type of knowledge is also helpful in getting financial and other facilities from various government institutions.

Dream to realise…

Dreams provide us the basic framework or outlines along which our career sketch is to be drawn. Without dreams, life would look like a blank sheet.
