IIM-C shifts focus to case-oriented curriculum from theory and lecture-based curriculum

Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C) is making an assessment of its core curriculum, shifting its focus to case-oriented curriculum from the current theory and lecture- based curriculum. It has hired faculty from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, which follows a case- oriented curriculum. IIM-C is hiring individuals who either have industry background or a management background. It is creating IIM-C Long Duration for residential management development programmes. New centres for corporate governance and entrepreneurship have also been set up.

Fellows Energy Doubles Production As Result Of Carbon County Project - Quick Facts Fellows Energy Ltd. (FLWE.OB) revealed that it has doubled production as a result of its recently-completed preliminary workover operations on its Carbon County project, along with its joint venture partner, MBA Resource. Fellows performed preliminary work in early May on the GCS 1A-18-14-8 well.
