The AXA Achievement Community Scholarship program offers $2,000 college scholarships to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. The scholarships are sponsored by the AXA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AXA Advisors LLC.
Applicants must be United States citizens or legal residents, be students who reside and attend high school in AXA branch areas, be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States by fall 2007, be ambitious and motivated, as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community, or work activities, and be recommended by an unrelated adult who can attest to the students achievement.

GRE and UR offer 15 MBA scholarships
The Simon Graduate School of Business at University of Rochester, in partnership with Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE), is offering scholarships to 15 managers at small-to mid-size local firms and nonprofit organizations wishing to pursue an Executive MBA degree.

Man behind scholarships says university broke promise to veterans
The University of Illinois last year offered up to 110 scholarships to veterans and members of the military interested in a masters of business administration degree. Each is worth $74,000.
THE DISAGREEMENT: Robert Van Der Hooning, who set up the program, says it was intended for the schools Chicago-based executive MBA program, with all scholarships available in 2006. The university says the scholarships were for any of the schools three MBA programs and werent intended to be awarded in a single year.
