Fitzsimmons Joins RF|Binder as Head of Science & Technology Practice
RF|Binder Partners today announced the appointment of John Fitzsimmons as Senior Managing Director with a focus on the firms science and technology practice. With more than a decade of communications expertise informed by a strong background in business, journalism and technical fields, Fitzsimmons role will be to help clients with complex value propositions align communications goals and execution with business strategy.
Before joining RF|Binder, Fitzsimmons founded Aspire Communications, where he signed clients such as industry goliath, NEC, and start-ups, Thrive Networks (IT Services) and Selective Micro Technologies (chemicals). Fitzsimmons prior experience includes work with dozens of disruptive technologies including one of the first consumer VoIP applications, the first needle-free injection device, and one of the first wireless patient information systems. His experience with business-to-business technologies include network security, VPNs, artificial intelligence, online community building and rapid-assembly software application components. In addition, years-long work with consumer color printing and digital photography maker Epson, and game maker SquareSoft bring a strong consumer perspective to the firms clients.

Mulraj Gala joins as Finance Head, Sanskrati Sail comes on board as Head of Human Resources, while Pranay Dankedar re-joins as a Senior Project Director.
Gala, a chartered account, was previously Director Finance at ACNielsen ORG-MARG. He is an alumnus of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a decade's work experience with leading organizations, including the IDBI Bank.

Amity has joined hands with the Zambian technical education and vocational regulatory body, the Technical Education Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority, to promote quality educational and management programmes and training in Zambia and India.
Atul Chauhan, President, Amity, and Dr. Patrick Nkanza, Director General, TEVETA, signed the MoU, as per which both will conduct a study to identify the training needs of the Zambian training institutes.
