Video iPods part of AUs MBA tuition
Videotapes and DVDs are old school. At least that was the view of Daniel Gropper when he decided to hand out top-of-the-line Apple iPods to students enrolled in Auburn Universitys off-campus MBA programs.
The associate dean and director of the College of Business MBA programs said the video iPods, which came loaded with business basics such as accounting, economics, finance and marketing, were given to students in the executive MBA and physicians MBA programs.
Those 21-month programs are for senior employees at major corporations and physicians who want to better manage their practices. They do most of their studies at home, except for a brief campus residency and a 10-day trip abroad to study in Asia or Europe.

We've already seen that Asia, with well over a quarter of the world's population including Vietnam with 84 million population, provides clients with very important opportunities. So

The state Legislatures budget committee voted 16-0 last week to approve changes to the benefits, including eliminating a promise of free graduate school tuition for veterans and setting a limit on how much time they would have to apply.
The changes would take effect if approved by the entire legislature and Gov. Jim Doyle, who will consider them as part of his budget this summer. They would leave the program underfunded

College students — and parents — get ready. You're heading for an unusual midyear tuition increase of 5 percent at Florida public colleges.
Then a much bigger challenge comes next year. That's when the two most popular tools in Florida for funding college costs probably won't cover a large part of the bill at major state schools.
Bright Futures scholarships, funded by the Florida Lottery for students who have good grades, won't pay for some big fees that three large Florida universities will be able to tack on to their tuition bills in the 2008-2009 school year.
