Vinayaka Missions new MBA course
Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation, a Salem-based deemed university, will start a two-year twin programme in MBA — combining graduation and post-graduation course — in partnership with Centennial College, Toronto, Canada.
The MBA international programme enables students to study their first year in India and the second year in Canada, S Vasudevan, vice-principal of the university, told reporters here today.
If the students opt to study in India itself, it can also be done, he said.
The students will be awarded an MBA degree by the university and graduation certificate by the Centennial College.

Mumbai, Sept. 10: The director of the National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Dr. Tapan Bagchi, was replaced by Professor Ashok Misra of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Dr Bagchi was arrested and released on bail for the insult of a staff member belonging to the minority of the Buddhist community.
NITIE officials were not prepared to comment on the move on Friday, but IIT-speakers Aruna Dixit Thoras Misra confirmation of the appointment.
