Cal moves into top 5 in national M.B.A. program ranking
The Wall Street Journals ranking of M.B.A. programs placed the University of California, Berkeleys Haas school at No. 5 and Stanford Universitys business school at No. 18 nationally.
The annual ranking results from polls of corporate recruiters rating M.B.A. programs on 21 criteria, including things like students problem-solving skills, the likelihood of finding stars at the schools, content of the schools core curriculum and commitment to corporate responsibility.
Cal moved up from No. 7 in last years ranking and Stanford fell from No. 15.
The University of Michigan ranked No. 1, followed by Dartmouth University, Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia University.

CSU MBA office moves
The offices and classroom of Colorado State Universitys Executive MBA Program have moved to a new location.
The Executive MBA Program, previously located on the second floor of the Chamber of Commerce Building in Lower Downtown, has moved to the 24th floor of 410 17th St. in downtown Denver. The Executive MBA Program now will reside in a single building with the universitys Division of Continuing Education as well as the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System.
The new facilities feature seating for more than 30 people, wireless connectivity, a smartboard controlled by a laptop
The ranking is based on questionnaires filled in by business school graduates.

TIFFIN, Ohio — The newspaper Ziarul Financiar (ZF) provided its first ranking of MBA programs in Romania, and named Tiffin University among the Top Three in a new survey released March 2008.
Ziarul Financiar is a daily financial newspaper published in Bucharest, Romania. Aside from the focus on business information, it features sections focusing on careers.
TU’s program, based at the University of Bucharest, was recognized along with The Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and The Institute for Business and Public Administration from Bucharest (Asebuss).

Forbes magazine has ranked the Lancaster Full-time MBA among the world's top MBA programmes. In the latest ranking, published in August 2007, the Lancaster MBA is ranked 8th in Forbes' list of the top one-year MBA programmes outside the USA.
The ranking is based on the return on investment for graduates five years after earning their MBA. In the 2007 ranking Forbes sent questionnaires to 18,500 alumni who graduated in 2002 from 111 schools around the world.

The Wisconsin MBA program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business was ranked 32nd in the regional category in this year's Wall Street Journal/Harris Interactive ranking of MBA programs.
