2006 MBA Conference to be held in Taipei Sept. 16
The 2006 MBA Conference, where students can meet with representatives from major business schools all over the world, will be held in Taipei Sept. 16 at the Grand Hyatt Taipei from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event is held by The MBA Tour, a leading global MBA events planner.
Peter von Loesecke, CEO of The MBA Tour, provided a few tips for applicants to get better results from their visits to the conference.
Applying to business school is inevitably stressful. Just narrowing your list of MBA programs to apply to can be overwhelming on its own, he said. An MBA is a critical building block of many career paths, but also a serious investment of time and resources so you need chose carefully.

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education of Andhra University will take up several activities with the help of Rs.14.25 lakh fund released by UGC under the 10th Plan, said vice-chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy at a press conference here on Thursday.
The activities included adult literacy classes for about 100 Class IV staff of AU, seminars, workshops and orientation programmes and conducting short-term certificate courses. Six programme coordinators were appointed to conduct the activities.

COIMBATORE: A three-day international conference on textiles and clothing management (ITCM 2004) is to be held in the city between December 13 and 15.
