The CAT retest would be held on February 15. This was announced by the directors of the six IIMs after their meeting here on Wednesday. They, however, said further information such as whether earlier centres - 147 in 26 cities across the country - would be retained, would be announced later. No decision was also taken on which press would print the papers and what roles each of the IIMs would play in conducting the retest. Student will not have to pay any extra fees for the retest. Neither will they have to fill fresh forms. Those who missed the examination on November 23, which was cancelled, can take the test on February 15.

MBA first-semester exam from February 13
Calicut University first-semester MBA examination (old and new schemes), which was postponed earlier, will be held from February 13.
University has published the results of fourth-semester MSc mathematics exam held in September 2006. Results are available in university website. Last date to apply for revaluation and for the photocopy of answer sheet is February 26.
Provisional rank list has been published. K S Shabna (LFAEMMS010), K.N.Savitha (STAEMMS013) and K.M.Sajitha (MPAEMMS014) secured the first, second and third ranks respectively.

A few days ago I met a senior IAS officer who held an important post in the human resources development (HRD) ministry of the previous government at the Centre. Ahmedabad (PTI): The IIM review committee arrived at the Indian Institute of Management here on Friday to discuss various issues, including the fee structure.
The five-member review committee that arrived here this morning held a meeting with IIM-A director Sameer Barua and other senior faculty members of the institute.
