XFin, the finance association of XIMB came out with the second issue of its finance magazine, Finshastra today. The magazine is sponsored by ICICI Bank. The issue was released by the Chairman of the XIMB board, Mr. Rajiv Kaul in presence of all the board members including Father Abraham, Director and Prof. Williams, Dean Academics. The chairman lauded the effort of XFin in enhancing and encouraging the financial acumen of XIMB and other B-schools. He also acknowledged the hard work of XFin in the light of good placements in the finance area this academic year. The chairman was appreciative of the efforts of Xfin in creating a simulated environment in Ximb for the students to have exposure and giving an opportunity to share knowledge regarding various financial issues. The copies of the magazine have been sent to the corporate, B-schools and participants. The XFin committee expressed its happiness to see the overwhelming response and deluge of articles by various B schools like ISB, IIMs, XLRI as well as corporates. It was assured that subsequent issues of Finshastra will also live up to the expectations of its readers and that XFin will work hard to make Finshastra the last word in finance.

BANGALORE: Five institutions managing the country came together to form a consortium to improve the quality of management training in India.
They have the "Autonomous Consortium of Business Schools" (CABS), the promotion of the exchange of faculty, students exchange, sharing of resources worked Faculty research, publications and on development.
